The SBA track teams competed at the 281 Conference meet in Huron on Tuesday, May 7. Weather was conducive to some good performances with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70 degree range. The boys finished 4th of 8 teams, scoring 96 points. The girls finished 7th with 54 points. Brady Brockel was named Carr Clinic MVP athlete for the boys. He was on the winning 4x200 and 4x400 units as well as a winner in the 400 meter dash with a new conference record of 50.9. He also placed second in the 800 meter run. Members of the winning 4x200 team were Chibueze Egeruoh, Nolan Hamilton, DJ Beckwith, and Brockel. The 4x400 unit consisted of Hamilton, Beckwith, Egeruoh, and Brockel. Meet results are linked below.
