Nine boys and nine girls traveled to Sioux Falls to compete in the Dakota Relays at Howard Wood Field on May 6 & 7, 2016. Two relay units qualified for the state track meet. The boys 4x800 unit placed 6th on Friday, May 6 with a time of 8:50.57, hitting the standard by .22 seconds. Relay members were Chris Hass, Jace Burma, Travis Hass, and Denver Paul. The boys medley relay team ran well under the standard on Saturday morning, and hitting 5th on the all time top ten list in school history, with a time of 3:44.08.
